I have a degree in Engineering and worked in a commercial world for 15 years before embarking on Psychotherapy training.
I trained with IPSS (a member of UK Council for Psychotherapy) and have an MA awarded by the University of North London. I qualified in 1999.
My qualifications include a Diploma and a Master of Arts (MA).
My approach can be described as being based on Freud and as developed by Klien and Relational.
It is psychoanalytic where I use my sense of the other to engage with my clients deep feelings.
Over the past 20 years as a psychotherapist / counsellor I have dealt with all sorts of anxieties and relational issues.
Ability to function better, easing of anxiety, ability to consider changes.
I work with adults of different genders, sexual orientations and ethnical backgrounds and I enjoy working with a variety of people.
I enjoy the mix of cultures and diversities.
My private counselling practice in Crouch End (N8) is located within easy walking distance of Highgate and Muswell Hill and within a short distance of many transport links making it easily accessible by train, bus and walking.
A normal room with a sofa, arm-chairs, books and plants.
One of the most important aspects is that of the unconscious (made of of long forgotten memories) that influences our lives in the here-and-now.
Working with and helping people.
